📄 Signing the Bill of Lading (BOL)? Read this first.

One signature = full responsibility. Here’s what to check before you sign: 🔍 Match your Rate Con Address, pallets, weight, product. If it doesn't match — stop and call your broker. 🔒 Seal & SLC Seal number must match. If you can't count or inspect the load, write "SLC" (Shipper Load and Count) on the BOL before you leave. No SLC = you're liable for shortages. 📸 Damage? Document it. Take photos. Add specific notes. Get the receiver's signature. If you don't document it, it becomes your problem.
